JohnMark McElhinny

JohnMark McElhinny, award winning filmmaker, actor, and artist, is a lifelong Brevard County resident. Primarily inspired by newspaper comics, Japanese comics, and all forms of animation, JohnMark prefers a simple, whimsical approach with  bold, solid colors and thick lines. his comedy background explains his popular "play on words" artwork titles and ideas. using mixed media and assemblage pieces in his work, he brings a fresh pop art style to current social topics. JohnMark's mediums inclue oil pastel, acrylic, and markers. McElhinny is the President of Strawbridge Art League, Galleries, and Studios in downtown Melbourne, where his work is on continuous display.
