John Snow

​Born in 1984 in southern Oregon, John Snow is a self taught artist now based on Florida’s Space Coast. From childhood, Snow immersed himself in drawing, a passion that led him to become a professional tattoo artist in 2007, followed by his exploration of oil painting and charcoal shortly after. His work spans a vivid spectrum, from dystopian, post-apocalyptic, and sometimes ancient portraits to dreamlike wilderness or coastal scenes, wildlife, vibrant marine life, and mystical nocturne landscapes. Snow’s wide range of paintings are defined by their bold, glowing colors, textured brushwork, often merging the precision of tattoo artistry with the emotive depth of oils. His art has been exhibited in galleries on both the East and West Coasts, as well as online platforms, captivating collectors with its ability to evoke duality, transformation, mortality, and the sublime.
