Lou Belcher is a mixed media artist who creates mostly abstracted landscapes, florals, and still life paintings. Her art is an expression of what she sees, feels, hears, and experiences. And, she often sneaks small drawings within the paintings as a surprise for viewers.Her paintings include many layers of paint, paper, words, marks, and textures. She is intent on creating a unique experience for viewers to determine what moves them rather than creating an obvious story through her work.
